THE MANAGEMENT OF ALL PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN KERALA
Sir/Madam
As you are aware Kerala Private Hospitals’ Association has always acted promptly and in time to protect the interests of private hospitals in Kerala since many years.
The Government has taken steps to implement the Clinical Establishment Act in the State which in its present form is detrimental to private hospitals. Under the Clinical Establishment Act, it is mandatory that the charges of all the services and procedures and the credentials of doctors and staff in each institution be exhibited to the public. We will also have to furnish the details of our institutions and employees through the web site maintained by the state government. There are many other adverse clauses in the CEA that needs to be debated and clarified.
In the present critical situation, KPHA has decided to convene a meeting of all the private hospitals in Kerala on Tuesday, 15th January 2019 at Hotel ELITE International, Chembottil Lane, Swaraj Round South, Thrissur from 02.30p.m to 05.30p.m. You are kindly invited to attend this very important meeting to take collective decisions and chalk out strategies on how to proceed on the matter.
We sincerely hope your institution will be represented at the meeting.
For any query, please feel free to call 8138994700, KPHA Headquarters.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Joseph Benaven
Gen. Secretary, KPHA
